I had a great time working in TCS for 5 years. I was part of a great team and made some great friends. But something was missing. Things needed to be shaken up. And what better way than to start a company! Had long discussions with my friend Chirag Mehta on this. We thought of starting a company together; left our jobs at a similar time. But in the end, decided to start our own individual companies.

We started operations in mid 2012. Initially, it was just me working from home for around a year. But with ever growing work, I rented a small place in Powai and hired a team. We had 3 great formative years in Powai.

Now, we are a grown firm having our nest moved to a corporate building at Goregaon (to cut the crazy traffic of Mumbai). We are a team of “10 titans at Kandisa”, each specializes in his/her own way in Salesforce & other technologies. Still looking forward to expand more & more.

Lot of people ask me what’s behind the name “Kandisa”. Well, I have always been fascinated with the Indian Ocean band. And the fascination started with a song that is probably their most recognised one. It’s a song that has gripped my imagination ever since I heard it first more than a decade back. And after been blank for a few days for the name of company, I heard the song again. And I thought maybe this is the name meant to be for the company! Kandisa means “Holy” which gives you peace of mind. A song which has given me pleasures for so many years suits the name for my company.

Our aim has always to create a team which specializes in different areas of Salesforce and who are capable of taking the right decisions for the CUSTOMER, helping them towards their success. And to achieve this, we focus heavily on learning of each team member. It reflects in our certification count (on average 4 per member) and trailhead badges (on average 85 per member).
